Private Ski Lessons, Snowboard Lessons and Telemark Lessons

The rates for our private ski lessons, snowboard lessons and telemark lessons are all ‘per instructor’ not ‘per student’. If you are a group of mixed ability skiers OR snowboarders OR telemark skiers, you can simply hire one instructor for the whole day and use them how you choose.

Private Ski Lessons, Snowboard or Telemark Lessons with Niseko Academy

We customize our private lessons as much as possible to suit your needs. On our full day lessons we’ll pick you up from your accommodation, take you to the most suitable terrain for your needs (at any resort in the area), join you for lunch (not part of the 5hrs teaching time) and make sure all your needs are totally taken care of. We’ll even visit you the evening before if you need help with renting equipment.

Full Day Private Lessons (5hrs)

  • Perfect for groups of mixed abilities
  • Great for families (or just the kids so parents can have a day by themselves)
  • Ideal for intermediates or advanced who want to explore the mountain
  • Possible to go to a different resort (transport included)
  • Not suitable for 1-on-1 beginner lessons where physical stamina may be an issue

Morning Private Lessons (3hrs)

  • Ideal for beginners taking a week of lessons (so you don’t get too sore on day 1)
  • Perfect as a quick “get your legs back” lesson if it’s been a while
  • Suitable for those with less stamina
  • Great for younger children when first learning
  • Not an option for mixed ability groups

Afternoon Private Lessons (2hrs)

  • Perfect for those arriving late the night before or wanting a leisurely breakfast
  • Ideal for intermediates and advanced looking for a few quick tips
  • Suitable for first timers just wanting to “give it a try”
  • Good if you’re on a budget but still want some guidance
  • Not an option for mixed ability groups

Night Ski/Ride (2hrs)

  • Perfect for those looking for a different and surreal experience
  • Suitable for intermediates and advanced looking for a few quick tips
  • Great for learning advanced tree skiing/riding strategies
  • Good if you’re on a budget but still want some guidance
  • Not an option for mixed ability groups or suitable for beginners
